Kerry Dorn is an artist who is based in the Fingerlakes Region of New York State. She enjoys working with soft pastel and oil mediums. Inspiration is found in the local beauty of the nearby lakes, hiking trails and parks. Painting outdoors, known as "Plein Air" or "in the open air" is a favorite pastime of Kerry's. She has painted & sold her plein air paintings locally , as well as, in Ireland and Paris. A retired registered nurse and teacher, painting has been one of her creative outlets since 2002.
